On paper, a supernatural action/comedy starring Eddie Murphy should be our favorite movie ever. On film, it…isn’t. Luckily for us, watching Eddie Murphy Eddie Murphy-ing his way through The Golden Child is still pretty damn funny. It’s an 80s movie we didn’t actually see in the 80s, and on this episode we’re talking everything from its origins as a VERY different movie to its groundbreaking special effects.
